Fab Fabrics is nestled against a bluff surrounded by the spectacular red rocks of St. George, Utah. It's a very picturesque setting for a quilt store filled with quilt fabrics bursting with color.
St. George is quite the anomaly when it comes to quilt shops and fabric stores. Most cities in the United States will have 3 quilt shops or fabric stores in a major city. St. George has six! We're located on the I-15 freeway and enjoy mild weather throughout the winter, which makes it a great place for quilters.
When you visit our store, you'll notice that we've stacked our bolts of fabric in custom-made fabric cabinets that make for easy browsing and selection. Our fantastic staff are knowledgable with all-things-quilting and will gladly assist with color selection, thread selection, and can even provide professional longarm quilting services with our in-store longarm finishing.
Our fabric shelves are divided into color families and themes and sorted by shades. We've discovered that by displaying bolts of fabric in this manner, you are able to find the right fabric color you're looking for. Because of our gradient and blenders arrangement, you can compare and contrast dozens, if not hundreds, of shades of blues, greens, reds, purples, yellows, etc.
At Fab Fabrics, we have quilts on display! These quilts are from our own stash and quilted on our in-store longarm machine. We rotate the quilts on display (about 25 quilts) regularly. It's like you're getting a bonus experience of a quilt gallery without paying an entry fee. 😂
Please come visit our fabric store and browse the aisles of fabric joy and shop our dedicated showroom that is stocked with thread. We carry cones, spools, prewound bobbins, needles, and notions on hand and ready for pickup.
Did we mention that we might have a minor addiction with batiks? We have shelves and shelves of all colors and textures. Ranging the entire color spectrum, our batik collection is sure to inspire you and may motivate you to finish that project you set aside because you just couldn't find the right fabric.....until now.
Our quilt kits are all made into finished quilts and on display so you can see them for reference. We've learned from our customers that this has been helpful for visualizing the size and fabric in real life before committing to making the kit.
Perhaps the most-loved feature of our quilt store in St. George is the comfy couch for patient husbands and family members to rest on while quilters browse unhindered.
