In-store longarm quilting service
When you visit our fabric store in St. George, Utah, you will not only see a beautiful selection of fabric (and perhaps the most fabric you've seen in one place), you will see several gallery-worthy quilts hanging on the walls of our store.
As part of our full-service offering at Fab Fabrics, we stock a dedicated showroom of Superior Threads with thousands of cones and spools in nearly every single thread line. That's a lot of thread! One of our goals is to help you from inspiration to completion and we're able to accomplish this thanks to our unique space and store configuration.
One feature of our fabric store that we're especially thrilled to offer is our in-store professional longarm quilting service. We offer edge-to-edge quilting for customers that would like the convenience and ease of having someone else finish their quilt. On a side note, we really love having our own longarm machine in the store because we use it for our own personal quilts and the quilts you will see hanging on the walls of our store.
With our expert knowledge of fabrics, quilting, thread, and design, we can walk through the selection process to help you choose precisely what you want your finished quilt to look like.
Having someone else quilt your quilt can be a very convenient way to complete a project. We have personally found that our rate of completion (we have too many ideas, not enough time!) has increased many times over when we have our quilts finished. While the convenience factor is significant, it may not always be the best choice. Some quilters really enjoy the topstitching aspect of quilting and other times personally completing a quilt that will be gifted to a loved one just means a lot more.
While having your quilt finished in our store doesn't fit every project, it is undeniably a fantastic service and a big time-saver for the projects that meet the criteria. Our quick turnaround time enables us to finish quilts in a more-than-reasonable time period. You are also able to choose the thread and design that you want to be topstitched, providing you with critical design input.
